Fans of EXO, BTS, Stray Kids, and various other K-pop groups have rallied around BamBam of GOT7 after he shared worrying messages on social media. This show of support highlights the strong sense of community in the K-pop fandom.

BamBam’s Distressing Messages

Recently, BamBam expressed troubling thoughts in an Instagram story, indicating a desire to sleep and not wake up, alarming many fans. Although he has been actively promoting his new release, BAMESIS, his mental health has been a topic of concern. He revealed that, while his mental state has improved, he still feels unhappy due to his demanding schedule.

On September 23, it was announced that BamBam would take a break, but on September 29, he alarmed fans again with an Instagram post suggesting he would be “gone for good” in 2025. His recent goodnight tweet and a reply to a supportive fan further intensified concerns, as he mentioned that the people around him were “the reason I’m dying.”

Support from K-pop Fans

Fans on X have voiced their worries over BamBam’s heavy workload and its potential impact on his mental health. In an unusual display of unity, K-pop fans have put aside rivalries to show their love for BamBam. The hashtag “WE LOVE YOU BAMBAM” has been trending on social media, showcasing fans’ desire for him to find a supportive environment.

Various fandoms, including BTS’ ARMY, EXO’s EXO-Ls, Stray Kids’ STAYs, and SHINee’s Shawols, have all come together to uplift BamBam during this difficult time. This solidarity emphasizes the K-pop community’s commitment to its artists.

BamBam’s Busy Schedule

Despite currently being on a break, BamBam has had a demanding schedule, including:

  • Preparing for his BAMESIS comeback
  • Wrapping up his 2023–2024 AREA 52 World Tour in May
  • Attending Paris Fashion Week 2024
  • Managing several other commitments

Upcoming promotions for BamBam include a showcase tour, with a stop at Mumbai’s K-Town Festival 2.0 and a fan sign event at the Yashwantrao Chavan Centre on December 15.
