NCT’s Mark is set to collaborate with rapper Lee Young Ji on a brand-new single, scheduled for release on December 16, 2024. Fans can look forward to the powerful duo combining their talents for this highly anticipated track.

Confirmation of the Collaboration

On December 10, 2024, South Korean news outlet Hankyung reported the exciting collaboration. A representative for Lee Young Ji confirmed her involvement as a featured artist on the track. Shortly after, SM Entertainment officially announced the release through NCT’s social media accounts.

While Mark’s first solo album was initially planned for February 2025, SM Entertainment revealed the release has been postponed to April 2025 to ensure a polished and high-quality product. The agency expressed appreciation for fans’ patience, explaining that the delay would allow for meticulous enhancements.

Mark’s Solo Journey

Mark debuted as a soloist with the single Child in 2022, followed by Golden Hour in 2023 and 200 in 2024. Known for his versatile rap style and songwriting abilities, Mark has steadily built a strong discography alongside his group activities.

A Look at Mark’s Career in NCT

Mark began his career in 2016 as part of NCT, one of SM Entertainment’s leading acts. He is a member of both NCT DREAM and NCT 127, sub-units known for their distinct sounds and concepts:

  • NCT DREAM: Includes Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung. They debuted with Chewing Gum and recently concluded their third world tour, THE DREAM SHOW 3: DREAMSCAPE, on December 1, 2024.
  • NCT 127: Mark joins Taeil, Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun, Haechan, Doyoung, Jungwoo, and Johnny. The group has released iconic tracks like Cherry Bomb, Kick It, and Sticker. Their upcoming fourth world tour, NEO CITY—THE MOMENTUM, begins January 18, 2025, in Seoul.

Mark’s new single featuring Lee Young Ji adds another milestone to his already illustrious career, and fans are eager to hear what this collaboration will bring.
