Jimin, a member of the global sensation BTS, recently shared a heartfelt update with ARMY (BTS’ fan community) through a Weverse post. He opened up about his military life, his conversations with fellow member Jungkook, and offered a glimmer of hope for a potential BTS comeback.
Life in the Military and Conversations with Jungkook
In his post on January 29th, Jimin described his routine in the military, stating that “time flows differently” and that his days consist of waking up, training, working out, and sleeping. He expressed his longing for ARMY and his desire to share his experiences, even if uneventful. He acknowledged the challenges of military life, emphasizing that he is still learning and adapting.
Jimin also shared details about his conversations with Jungkook, his military buddy. As the new year approached, their discussions shifted towards post-discharge life and the possibility of resuming BTS’ group activities. They talked about what they need to do to prepare to meet ARMY again and return to the stage. This has fueled speculation of a potential BTS comeback this year, especially after Suga, the last member to enlist, completes his mandatory service.
Apprehension and Determination
Jimin expressed feeling “apprehensive” about returning but conveyed his determination to “put on the best performance for everyone who’s been waiting.” He promised to work hard and return in “the best possible condition.” He also thanked ARMY for their constant support and wished them a happy new year.
Jimin and Jungkook enlisted together on December 12, 2023, and are expected to be discharged on June 11th of this year. ARMY is eagerly waiting for their return and the reunion of BTS as a whole.
