What the Hindi Version Means for Indian Viewers
JioHotstar is bringing Obsession: The Original Uncut Version to India in both English and Hindi. Alok Jain, Head of Hindi and English Entertainment Business at JioStar, explained why the platform chose to release a Hindi-dubbed version.
“Great stories have the power to resonate with audiences, far beyond the languages they are told in or the geographies they belong to. At JioHotstar, we firmly believe in this power of storytelling and are committed to giving impactful content the right platform and scale.”
— Alok Jain, JioStar
Jain also said Sanon and Dhawan were picked for their “cross-generational appeal” and their past work in the horror genre .

I noticed so many little details that I may have missed on a first watch, and that made the whole experience even more interesting.”
