BLACKPINK member Lisa recently shared an update about the group preparing for their DEADLINE World Tour, but fans reacted with criticism instead of excitement. Many BLINKs (BLACKPINK fans) expressed frustration over lack of new music, poor promotions, and concerns about the group’s commitment.

Lisa posted on the fan platform Bubble, saying, “we are practicing hard!” and “I cant wait to see BLINKs!! There’s not much time left. My heart is pounding.” While some fans appreciated the update, others accused her of “damage control” after backlash over the tour’s limited new content.

Fans expected a full album but were disappointed to learn BLACKPINK will only perform one new song during the tour. The song’s release details, including whether it will be on streaming platforms, remain unclear. Many also criticized the setlist for being similar to their last tour, BORN PINK, with minimal changes.

“baby it shouldn’t be blackpink holding it! they’re part of the problem too!” – one fan tweeted. Others questioned if the members were even practicing together, as they have been busy with solo activities.

“Practicing where? They aren’t even in the same country 😭😭😭😭 they don’t care about their fans” – another fan wrote.

The DEADLINE World Tour starts on July 5 and 6 in Goyang, South Korea, followed by stops in North America, Europe, and Asia. The group has not released new music since their 2022 album BORN Pink, making this their first group activity in nearly three years.

Some fans defended Lisa, saying she genuinely cares but is often inactive on Bubble. Others blamed YG Entertainment for poor planning and lack of communication. Many fans are now reselling their concert tickets, feeling the group is not meeting expectations.

“blackpink don’t care about us anymore, blinks shall we move to twice’s fandom?” – one frustrated fan tweeted.

Fan Reactions:

Despite the backlash, BLACKPINK’s tour is still highly anticipated. The group recently reunited for practice, with Jisoo sharing a photo of them forming a flower shape with their hands in the studio. The members reposted it, hinting at their preparations.
