Fans of Kang Full, the acclaimed webtoon writer behind the hit series Moving, have something to look forward to in 2024. His latest work, Light Shop, is being adapted into a fantasy drama with a stellar cast of actors, including Park Bo Young, Ju Ji Hoon, Lee Jung Eun, Bae Seong Woo, and more.
Light Shop tells the stories of various people who are drawn to a mysterious light shop at the end of a dark alley. There, they encounter the shopkeeper, Jung Won Young (played by Ju Ji Hoon), who offers them a chance to change their fate. However, the price they have to pay may be more than they bargained for.

Bae Seong Woo, who has shown his versatility in films like Veteran and The King, will play Yang Sung Sik, a police officer who is investigating a series of mysterious deaths related to the light shop. He is determined to uncover the truth behind the shop and its owner.
The drama will also feature a talented ensemble of supporting actors, such as Uhm Tae Goo, Kim Seol Hyun, Kim Min Ha, Park Hyuk Kwon, Kim Dae Myung, Shin Eun Soo, Kim Sung Hwa, and Kim Ki Hae. They will portray various characters who visit the light shop for different reasons and encounter different outcomes.
Light Shop is directed by Kim Hiewon, who has worked on dramas like The Crowned Clown and The Good Detective. The screenplay is written by Kang Full himself, who is also the original creator of the webtoon. Kang Full is one of the most popular and influential webtoon writers in Korea, who has also created works like Moving, Trace, and Moss.
Moving, which was adapted into a drama in 2023, was a huge success both domestically and internationally. It won six awards at the 2023 Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards, including Best Creative, Best Lead Actor, Best Writer, Best Newcomer Actor and Actress, and Best Visual Effects. It also received rave reviews from critics and viewers for its captivating story, impressive visuals, and superb acting.
