A thrilling first look at the new Prime Video series Kill Jackie has been released, showing Oscar-winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones as a glamorous art dealer with a dangerous secret past. The series, which has finished filming, is scheduled to launch on the streaming platform in 2026.
The image introduces Zeta-Jones as Jackie Price, a character living a life of luxury whose peaceful existence is shattered when a squad of elite assassins known as The Seven Demons targets her.
The Story Behind the Thrill
Kill Jackie is based on the acclaimed novel The Price You Pay by bestselling author Nick Harkaway, who wrote the book under the pseudonym Aidan Truhen. The story follows Jackie Price, who has spent the last twenty years building a wealthy, anonymous life as an art dealer, using sophisticated tax loopholes while trying to escape her history as an international drug smuggler.
Just as life starts to feel a little boring, it takes a sudden lethal turn when she discovers The Seven Demons, a squad of the world’s most terrifying assassins, have been hired to kill her.
Believing someone from her past is responsible, Jackie is forced to unleash her old instincts. She embarks on a dangerous mission to take down the assassins one by one before they can kill her. However, she soon discovers that her own personal demons are more terrifying than the professional killers on her trail, and her buried secrets lead her to surprises much closer to home.
The Creative Team and Cast
The series brings together top talent from some of television’s most exciting shows. The creative team includes the writer behind Gangs of London, Tom Butterworth, who serves as writer and showrunner, and Damon Thomas, the lead director from Killing Eve. The series is an eight-part co-production from Fremantle and Steel Springs Pictures.
Catherine Zeta-Jones is not only the star but also an executive producer on the project. She leads a large and talented ensemble cast. The cast includes Daniel Ings from The Gentlemen, Sidse Babett Knudsen from Borgen, and Óscar Jaenada from Rambo V. They are joined by Hattie Hook, Darci Shaw, Raff Law, Enzo Cilenti, Christine Adams, and veteran actor Bill Paterson.

Filming for the series took place in various international locations, including Bilbao, Lisbon, London, and Swansea. Production has officially wrapped, meaning the project is now in its final stages.
The series is set for a global release in 2026. Prime Video will make it available to viewers in numerous territories, including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Canada. Fremantle will manage sales for most international markets outside of the United States.
