Lead actor Joel Edgerton has confirmed that the second season is aiming for a release in the middle of 2026, finally giving fans a clear timeline for the show’s comeback. โNext year, sometime. I think middle of the year,โ Edgerton stated.
He also gave fans a hint about the new season’s story, teasing that it will explore “chaos and the dangers of a new technology,” which he called a very relevant topic for today’s world. The core of the story was Jason’s desperate journey through the multiverse, using a device called “the Box,” to get back to his real wife, Daniela, and son, Charlie, and stop Jason2 from taking over his life.
