Ashley Park described the experience of filming those argument scenes as “odd,” noting that she had never spoken to Collins that way before. The actors said they would reassure each other between takes.
The season ends with a dramatic engagement, but not for Emily. In the finale in Venice, Nicolas “Nico” de Leon proposes to Mindy, and she accepts.
