Charli XCX has shared the complete list of songs for her upcoming soundtrack album for the Emerald Fennell film ‘Wuthering Heights’. The official tracklist reveals a 12-song collection that includes a notable collaboration with singer Sky Ferreira. The album is scheduled for release on February 13, 2026, the same day the movie opens in theaters.
The artist unveiled the tracklist on her social media and through the film review platform Letterboxd following the movie’s Los Angeles premiere. This album serves as a companion piece to Fennell’s new adaptation of the classic Emily Brontë novel, which stars Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi.
Full ‘Wuthering Heights’ Soundtrack Tracklist and Collaborations
The full tracklist for Charli XCX’s ‘Wuthering Heights’ soundtrack is now available. The album contains 12 songs in total.
The songs, in order, are:
- “House” (feat. John Cale)
- “Wall of Sound”
- “Dying for You”
- “Always Everywhere”
- “Chains of Love”
- “Out of Myself”
- “Open Up”
- “Seeing Things”
- “Altars”
- “Eyes of the World” (feat. Sky Ferreira)
- “My Reminder”
- “Funny Mouth”
The standout detail for many fans is the feature from Sky Ferreira on track ten, “Eyes of the World.” This marks the first time Charli XCX and Ferreira have worked together since their 2019 collaboration “Cross You Out” from Charli’s self-titled album. Ferreira, known for her 2013 cult classic album Night Time, My Time, has released music only sporadically in recent years, making this new feature a significant event for her followers.
The opening track, “House,” features legendary Velvet Underground member John Cale. This song was released as the album’s first single on November 10, 2025.
Album Release Date and Connection to the Film
The ‘Wuthering Heights’ soundtrack release date is set for Thursday, February 13, 2026. This is a global release date, coinciding with the film’s opening in theaters worldwide.
The album is described as a complete companion piece to director Emerald Fennell’s cinematic vision. Charli XCX began work on the music in December 2024 after Fennell contacted her. Originally asked to contribute just a single song, Charli felt so inspired by the screenplay that she proposed creating an entire album.
Charli XCX said: “I wanted to dive into persona, into a world that felt undeniably raw, wild, sexual, gothic, British, tortured and full of actual real sentences, punctuation and grammar… This collection of songs is an album, and sure, my name’s on the credits, but is it a Charli xcx album? I don’t even know. Nor do I really care to find out.”
She created most of the album with her frequent collaborator, producer Finn Keane, while on tour throughout 2025.
How the Soundtrack Differs from Charli XCX’s ‘Brat’
This project represents a major artistic shift for Charli XCX. Coming after the massive success of her 2024 dance-pop album ‘Brat,’ the ‘Wuthering Heights’ soundtrack moves in a completely different creative direction.
Charli has described the new album’s sound as “elegant and brutal,” a phrase she borrowed from John Cale’s description of The Velvet Underground’s music. She aimed to capture a “raw, wild, sexual, gothic, British, tortured” feeling that matched the film’s atmosphere. This is a stark contrast to the club-oriented and hyper-modern sound of Brat.
Music critics noted the dramatic change when the first single, “House,” was released. The track features noisy, distorted instrumentation and a haunting cello, leading to comparisons with gothic and industrial rock. The Guardian‘s Alexis Petridis called the song “powerful, striking and rewarding,” noting it bore “almost no relation in sound or mood to the contents of Brat.”
The second single, “Chains of Love,” offered a different side. Released on November 13, 2025, its synth-pop style and string arrangements reminded many listeners of Charli’s much earlier work on her 2013 debut album, True Romance.
