The official synopsis for “Michael Jackson Goes to HR” reveals a funny but stressful situation for Trevor (Asher Grodman) . Trevor lands himself in serious trouble when he gives an inappropriate gift to a co-worker. This forces him to attend an HR meeting. The problem is, only Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) can see or hear Trevor. So, Jay has to step in and handle the meeting for him. This puts Jay in a very awkward position.

While Jay tries to save Trevor from getting fired from the afterlife, Pete (Richie Moriarty) causes problems back at the mansion. Pete accidentally starts a fight between himself and Alberta (Danielle Pinnock) . He casually mentions that he made a surprise visit to his ex-wife, Carol. This news does not sit well with Alberta, leading to some relationship drama among the ghosts.
