FX’s hit Gen Z comedy Adults is officially returning for a second season, bringing back the chaotic housemates for more awkward life lessons and friendship drama.
When and Where to Watch Season 2
Adults Season 2 premieres on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT. All eight episodes will be available to stream immediately on Hulu and on-demand through FXX. For linear viewing, FXX will air two episodes each week.
International audiences can watch the series on Disney+.
Season 2 Story Progression
Season 2 picks up after the dramatic Season 1 finale, where Anton and Paul Baker unexpectedly kissed after becoming husbands through a green card marriage. The new season takes place after a two-month time jump, but don’t expect the characters to immediately address what happened.
The complicated triangle between Issa, Paul Baker, and Anton remains central to Season 2. Co-creators Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw describe it as a true triangle where all parties genuinely care about each other. Anton will also get a new love interest this season, adding another layer of romantic chaos.
Other storylines include Samir and Carly navigating the reality of their relationship, Billie exploring new romantic possibilities, and the group confronting new real-world questions about identity, work, and family.
