SM Entertainment’s girl group aespa is set to make history.

According to reports on May 8, KST, aespa will perform at the Outside Lands Music & Art Festival, a major American outdoor music festival scheduled to be held from August 11 to 13 at Golden Gate Park, San Francisco.

Outside Lands Festival is one of the representative annual music festivals of the US, with more than 220,000 spectators every year. The festival features a total of six stages and 90 performers on the lineup. Apart from music performances, the festival also exhibits various installation artworks and events, as well as food stalls serving representative cuisines of different regions. Previously, big-name artists like The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, Lauv, and SZA have performed at this festival.
This year, apart from aespa, the lineup includes Kendrick Lamar, ODESZA, and Lana Del Rey, among others.
Meanwhile, aespa is currently on a world tour and is slated to perform in Osaka, Japan, on March 15.
