A fan of Jessi has come forward, alleging he was assaulted after approaching the rapper for a photo in late September. The incident has sparked discussions on social media and drawn attention to the actions of Jessi and her group during the altercation.

Incident Details

The 18-year-old fan reported that the alleged assault took place in the early hours of September 29, in Apgujeong, Seoul. According to his account, he noticed Jessi and her acquaintances in an alley and decided to approach her for a photo. While he was politely asking for a picture, a male member of Jessi’s group blocked him and began swearing at him in English. Jessi reportedly stepped in, apologized to the fan, and declined the request for a photo.

However, as the fan was about to leave, another man from Jessi’s group allegedly attacked him, hitting him in the face and kicking him. The altercation was captured on surveillance footage, which showed Jessi’s party intervening and attempting to separate the assailant from the fan.

Jessi’s Response

The victim claimed that Jessi initially tried to stop the incident but later retreated from the scene and disappeared. “I don’t know if she ran away to avoid involvement, but it was really disappointing as a fan to see her not do more,” the victim expressed. According to his account, the group left the scene while he was contacting the police.

The police, after receiving the report, tracked down Jessi and her party at a nearby bar. However, the alleged assailant was not present. Jessi and her acquaintances stated they did not know the man’s whereabouts.
