Meet the Composer and Music Style of Seven Dials
The score for Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials was created by composer Anne Nikitin. She has a strong background in crafting music for dramatic television and film. Her previous credits include the score for One Day and Dangerous Liaisons.
The soundtrack blends original score with period-specific songs. Nikitin composed the dramatic instrumental pieces that underscore the mystery and suspense. These tracks have titles like “Hiding Clocks,” “Looking for Trouble,” and “Cat and Mouse”. They musically represent the investigation and the hidden dangers Bundle faces.
To capture the glamorous 1925 setting, the album also features special vocal performances. Singer Sam Jewison performs several upbeat party songs. These include “Doinโ the New Low Down” and “Charleston Charley”. These tracks help establish the lively, high-society world where the story begins. Artist Lady Nade also contributes two songs to the album: “Letโs Sow a Wild Oat” and “Everybody Loves My Baby”.
