BTS member V has impressed fans and fellow celebrities with his buff physique after military training. BIGBANG’s Daesung recently praised V’s transformation during a variety show, calling him “massive” and suggesting a workout session. Fans loved the interaction, calling V the “most relevant idol” for his growing popularity even during his service.
V, whose real name is Kim Taehyung, has been serving in the military since December 2023. He is set to be discharged on June 10, 2025, along with BTS leader RM. Fans have seen glimpses of his military life, including his physical transformation, through rare updates.
During the May 29 episode of Netflix’s Try? Choo-ry!, Daesung reacted enthusiastically when a fan mentioned V as her favorite idol. He made a muscle gesture and praised V’s new look, saying:
“He is massive! Choo Sung Hoon, you should work out with him sometime.”
Former TVXQ member Kim Jae Joong also agreed, adding to the lighthearted moment. The clip quickly spread online, with fans appreciating the supportive dynamic between senior and junior idols.
