This episode shows Yhwach at his most dangerous. He regains full control of The Almighty and rewrites the future. The result is one of the most brutal episodes of the entire series. Many beloved characters suffer devastating losses. Ichigo watches helplessly as his friends are destroyed one by one.

Here is everything that happened in Bleach TYBW The Calamity Episode 6.
Yhwach Takes Back The Almighty and Rewrites Time
The episode begins with Ichigo preparing to make a huge sacrifice. He decides to become the next Soul King to restore balance to the three worlds. But before he can do anything, Yhwach returns.
Yhwach first takes back his power from Jugram Haschwalth. Haschwalth had been holding The Almighty while Yhwach slept. But now Yhwach absorbs Haschwalth’s Schrift ability, The Balance, to regain full control.
With The Almighty back, Yhwach does something terrifying. He rewinds time so that Orihime’s attack against him never happened. Her death is undone. But so is everything else that happened in that timeline. This includes Ichigo’s plan to become the Soul King.
Yhwach explains his power in detail. The Almighty does not just let him see the future. He can also change all possible futures. If he wants something to happen, he can pick that outcome from endless possibilities. This makes him stronger than any other character in Bleach.
Orihime comes back to life but is badly injured. She is alive, but Yhwach is now in complete control of the future.
Uryu and Jugram’s Battle Reaches Its End
The fight between Uryu Ishida and Jugram Haschwalth has been building for weeks. Episode 6 finally gives this battle the attention it deserves.
Both fighters reveal their full powers. Uryu uses The Antithesis. Jugram uses The Balance. These two abilities counter each other perfectly. The two characters trade blows, with Jugram having the upper hand most of the time.
Jugram questions Uryu about why he risks his life for his friends. Uryu replies that if his friends are fools for protecting each other, he is happy to be called the same. This shows that Uryu is ready to sacrifice himself just like his friends.
But before Jugram can deliver the final blow, Yhwach intervenes. He takes away Jugram’s powers. Jugram is left on the brink of death.
The episode shows a flashback to Jugram’s past with Bazz-B. Jugram still keeps the pin that once belonged to Bazz-B. This gives viewers a look at his emotional pain. Two kids made a promise about who would stand next to the king. But that friendship turned into years of loyalty and resentment.
As his final act, Jugram lets Uryu transfer all his injuries to him. He asks Uryu to go help Ichigo and the others fight Yhwach. The grandmaster of the Quincy army ends his war not as a warrior but as property being taken back.
Renji Suffers the Most Brutal Death
After Yhwach returns, he wastes no time showing his power. Renji Abarai becomes his first target.
Yhwach destroys Renji’s sword Zabimaru. He then rips Renji to pieces. This is one of the most disturbing scenes in all of Bleach. Renji had been fighting to protect his friends throughout the war. But Yhwach shows him no mercy.
Chad and Ganju also try to help. But Yhwach defeats them easily. He toys with every other character who stands against him.
Ichigo’s New Bankai Gets Destroyed
Ichigo Kurosaki finally revealed his true Bankai in the previous episode. But it only lasts for one week.
Ichigo transforms into his Blood Chains form and rushes at Yhwach. But this time, things are different. Yhwach has full control of The Almighty. He moves in and out of the future to change the outcomes of the battle.
Yhwach breaks Ichigo’s Zanpakuto with his bare hands. He then breaks Ichigo’s horn. Tensa Zangetsu is destroyed almost immediately.
Ichigo can only watch as Yhwach stomps on his friends. He is left screaming in pain as his new form is broken and his friends lie injured nearby.
