BTS’ V is preparing to release a new project titled Rêvé on February 3. This project is expected to be a photobook showcasing moments from his time in Paris.
Rêvé: A Glimpse into V’s Paris Experience
BIGHIT MUSIC announced V’s Rêvé through BTS’ official social media on January 12. Pre-orders for the photobook will begin on January 14 at 11 AM KST. The announcement included a poster featuring a monochromatic Paris scene with text in French that translates to:
“The feeling of freedom that I felt in Paris, the instant beauty, a dreamy scenery seen through the eyes of V.”
The title Rêvé, meaning “dream” in French, suggests the emotions V associates with his time in Paris.
V’s Connection to Paris and Photography
As a brand ambassador for Celine, a French luxury fashion house, V has frequently visited Paris. He has often shared photos from his trips, capturing everyday moments. V is known for his unique approach to photography. His 2024 photobook, TYPE 1, showcased his ability to capture lingering memories. Rêvé is expected to follow a similar style, serving as a “remedy for the soul.”
V’s Recent Activities
Rêvé will be V’s first project of 2025. In the latter half of 2024, he made his solo comeback with Winter Ahead, featuring balladeer Park Hyo Shin. He also released a new version of Bing Crosby’s holiday classic, White Christmas, shortly after.
