The first look at the upcoming South Korean series “Cashero” has been revealed, raising anticipation for its release. The drama features Lee Jun Ho, Kim Byung Chul, and Kim Hyang Gi as heroes with unique and unusual triggers for their superpowers.
Unusual Heroes Save the Day
“Cashero” tells the story of a group of unconventional heroes who work to protect their community. The newly released stills offer a peek into the show’s premise and introduce the main characters. One image shows Lee Jun Ho, Kim Byung Chul, and Kim Hyang Gi posing heroically, but each holds an object that hints at their power source.
Lee Jun Ho plays Kang Sang Woong, a humble community center worker. His strength grows with the amount of cash he has. His life changes unexpectedly when he gains superpowers, turning his dream of owning a home into a fight for justice.
Kim Byung Chul portrays Byun Ho In, a lawyer whose powers activate when he drinks alcohol. He encounters Kang Sang Woong and recognizes his potential. Together, they team up to confront a mysterious organization targeting individuals with special abilities.
Kim Hyang Gi plays Bang Eun Mi, a lively character whose powers are fueled by calories. She joins forces with Kang Sang Woong and Byun Ho In to battle evil.
Another still shows Lee Jun Ho in an intense discussion with Kim Hye Joon, who plays his girlfriend, Kim Min Sook. Kim Min Sook, who has a talent for numbers, instinctively grabs a calculator when she witnesses Kang Sang Woong’s extraordinary abilities.
The series is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2025.
