Choi Tae Joon, currently starring in the K-drama Iron Family, recently shared insights into how he and his wife, Park Shin Hye, maintain a balanced work-life dynamic. During an appearance on MBC’s Radio Star alongside his co-stars, Choi talked about how they separate their work lives from their personal relationship.
When asked if they discuss work at home, Choi was clear: “I have no intention of interfering in her projects. She’s working hard on her own, and I stay out of it.” He emphasized that they follow a “leave work at work” approach and focus on their life outside of acting when at home.
Choi also revealed that he watches The Judge from Hell, Park Shin Hye’s latest drama, like any other viewer. He avoids reading her scripts, preferring to experience the show as it airs.
Addressing a question about their home life, Choi admitted that they do have occasional disagreements due to their differing personalities. He described himself as more of a “T” (thinking type) while Park Shin Hye leans towards being an “F” (feeling type) according to their MBTI personalities. He added that his problem-solving nature sometimes clashes with her more emotional approach, but they work through it together.
Iron Family, featuring Choi Tae Joon, premiered on September 28.
