The second season of Daredevil: Born Again has been keeping Marvel fans on the edge of their seats. With the first five episodes now streaming on Disney+, viewers are eager to know when they can watch the next chapter. Episode 6, titled “Requiem,” is set to arrive this week. Here is everything you need to know about the release date, global streaming times, and what to expect as the story moves closer to the finale.
Episode 6 Arrives This Week on Disney+
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 6 will release on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. The episode drops on Disney+ at 6:00 PM Pacific Time (PT). For viewers on the East Coast, that translates to 9:00 PM Eastern Time (ET). The episode is titled “Requiem” and has a reported runtime of 49 minutes.
Fans in the United Kingdom can watch the episode early on Wednesday, April 22 at 2:00 AM BST. Indian viewers will find it available on JioHotstar at 6:30 AM IST on Wednesday morning. Australian fans on the East Coast can watch it at 11:00 AM AEST on Wednesday.
The show follows a weekly release schedule. New episodes come out every Tuesday. The pattern stays consistent, with Episode 7 scheduled for April 28 and the season finale, Episode 8, arriving on May 5.
A Darker Turn for Matt Murdock
The second season picks up right after the events of the first. Wilson Fisk, played by Vincent D’Onofrio, has fully taken control of New York City as Mayor. He has enforced martial law and created an Anti-Vigilante Task Force to hunt down masked heroes. Matt Murdock, played by Charlie Cox, has been forced to operate from the shadows.
Critics have noted that Season 2 has fixed many of the pacing problems from the first season. The action sequences are sharper, and the story is moving faster. One review from IGN noted that while the season has a lot of characters, the central fight between Daredevil and Kingpin remains very strong.
The return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones has been a major selling point for this season. Her appearance marks the first major crossover from the old Netflix Marvel shows into the main Marvel Cinematic Universe storyline. It gives fans hope that other characters like Luke Cage might also return in the future.
Why Fans Are Watching Episode 6 Closely
With only three episodes left after this week, Episode 6 is expected to raise the stakes significantly. The episode is directed by Angela Barnes, who also directed Episode 5. The writing team for “Requiem” includes Devon Kliger and Jesse Wigutow.
So far this season, Matt Murdock has been gathering allies to fight back against Fisk‘s corrupt government. The addition of Jessica Jones has given Murdock a powerful partner. However, not every fan-favorite character is back. Jon Bernthal does not appear as Frank Castle (The Punisher) in this season. Reports indicate he was busy filming the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie. Marvel will release a special presentation titled The Punisher: One Last Kill on May 12 to bridge that gap.
Episode 6 is titled “Requiem.” Given the title, many fans expect a major character moment or a loss for Matt Murdock as the fight against Kingpin gets more personal.
