What Happened Before Episode 7
The previous episode, “Requiem,” delivered major changes to the story. Vanessa Fisk died in a brutal scene, and Fisk’s reaction was immediate and extreme. A stolen weapons stash was brought to federal attention, and Karen Page went public with damaging information about Fisk. By the end of the episode, Karen was taken, leaving Matt with even more to deal with.
Jessica Jones entered the story through a separate conflict. She was protecting a child named Danielle, a detail that connects to the comics where Danielle is the daughter of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. Jessica also experienced power issues during a fight, which raises new questions about her abilities.
Matt and Fisk finally faced each other again. The fight ended with Fisk losing a white painting that connected him to Vanessa, which pushed him further into rage.
