K-pop artist DAWN has deleted a significant number of personal posts from his Instagram account, including photos with his ex-girlfriend HyunA. This move comes amid HyunA’s recent announcement of her marriage to former Highlight member Junhyung.
DAWN, known for his work as a solo artist and former member of PENTAGON, recently wiped out most of his Instagram posts. He retained only 15 posts that are related to his work as a soloist. This dramatic change saw the deletion of approximately 1,080 posts from his account. While DAWN has not publicly shared the reason for this sweeping change, it includes the removal of photos with his ex-fiancée HyunA.
HyunA and DAWN had previously stated that they would not delete their pictures together even after their breakup. Despite this, DAWN has now taken down these images, while HyunA’s Instagram still features pictures of the two of them together.
DAWN’s Journey and Relationship with HyunA
DAWN began his career as a member of the boy group PENTAGON. However, he left the group after his relationship with HyunA became public in 2018. The couple started dating in 2016 and became a well-known power couple in the K-pop industry. After leaving PENTAGON, both DAWN and HyunA signed contracts with PSY’s agency, P NATION.
In September 2021, DAWN and HyunA collaborated on an EP titled 1+1=1, featuring the title track Ping Pong. Their chemistry and collaboration were well-received by fans. They announced their engagement on February 3, 2022, but unfortunately, on November 30, 2022, they revealed their breakup. Despite this, they maintained that they would remain good friends and colleagues.
In August 2022, P Nation announced that DAWN would not be renewing his contract with the agency. Subsequently, in January 2023, he signed a new contract with At Area. HyunA also chose not to renew her contract with P Nation around the same time.
DAWN’s Musical Releases and Inspirations
DAWN released his latest EP, Narcissus, in September 2023. The album, which consists of eight tracks, showcases his musical range from calm ballads to upbeat songs. The name Narcissus is inspired by the character from Greek and Roman mythology who fell in love with his own reflection. DAWN draws a parallel between this character and his perspective on love, seeing falling in love with someone as akin to falling in love with oneself, as the lover becomes a part of them.

Earlier this month, HyunA announced her marriage to former Highlight member Junhyung. This news marks a new chapter in HyunA’s life, as she continues to pursue her career and personal happiness.
