The cast of ‘Camp Rock’ came together again on the red carpet for the world premiere of ‘Camp Rock 3’ in Los Angeles. Demi Lovato joined Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Kevin Jonas at The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California, on Monday, August 10, 2026. The reunion marked the first time the four stars walked the red carpet together for a ‘Camp Rock’ film in 16 years.
Lovato, who played aspiring singer Mitchie Torres in the first two films, wore a bronze lace-up vintage Dolce & Gabbana dress. The Jonas Brothers chose sleek Giorgio Armani designs. Kevin Jonas, 38, wore a grey suit with a white t-shirt. Joe Jonas, 36, chose a pink sweater vest with black trousers. Nick Jonas, 33, styled a blue-grey suit with an off-white collared shirt.

Lovato also serves as an executive producer on the project, alongside the Jonas Brothers. The singer shared a photo of herself in the film on social media with the caption, “Y’all miss me? xoxo, Mitchie”.
Director Veronica Rodriguez told The Hollywood Reporter that the team had thoughtful discussions about how to bring Mitchie back while letting the new cast shine.
“We wanted to find the right balance of how much she should be in the film and what Mitchie’s involvement looked like,” Rodriguez said. “Her character literally says in the movie, to her mom, ‘This isn’t about me, it’s about them. It’s their time to shine. This is the new generation of campers.’”
Rodriguez added that they wanted Mitchie and Connect 3 to be “ingrained and necessary for the story but also leave enough room and space for the world to fall in love with the new generation of campers”.
Jonas Brothers Return as Connect 3 in Third Installment
The Jonas Brothers reprise their roles as the fictional band Connect 3. Joe Jonas returns as Shane Gray, Nick Jonas as Nate Gray, and Kevin Jonas as Jason Gray.
The third film picks up years after the events of ‘Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam’. The story follows Connect 3 as they lose their opening act for a major reunion tour. The band returns to Camp Rock to discover the next big musical act.

New Generation of Campers Takes the Lead
‘Camp Rock 3’ introduces a fresh lineup of young talent to lead the franchise. The new campers include Sage, played by Liamani Segura; her brother Desi, played by newcomer Hudson Stone; cello prodigy Rosie, played by Lumi Pollack; drummer Cliff, played by Casey Trotter; choreographer Callie, played by Brooklynn Pitts; intimidating influencer Madison, played by Ava Jean; and camp bad boy Fletch, played by Malachi Barton.
The film marks a shift from the first two movies, which focused primarily on Mitchie and Connect 3. This instalment gives the spotlight to a new generation while keeping the original stars involved in meaningful ways.
Veronica Rodriguez directed the film from a script by Eydie Faye. The movie is produced by Disney Kids & Family with choreography by Jamal Sims. Executive producers include Tim Federle, the Jonas Brothers, Lovato, Betsy Sullenger, Spencer Berman, and Gary Marsh.

Earlier this year, Lovato spoke about giving advice to the new ‘Camp Rock 3’ cast. She appeared on the “Not Gonna Lie” podcast and shared what she wished she had known as a young Disney Channel star.
“I wish that I had gotten advice, and I think it would have saved me a lot of trial and errors,” Lovato said. “There’s no manual on how to be a pop star, and there’s certain things I would tell [them].”
The ‘Camp Rock’ franchise launched the careers of Lovato and the Jonas Brothers when the first film premiered in 2008. The sequel, ‘Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,’ followed in 2010. Now, 16 years later, the cast has reunited to pass the torch to a new generation of campers.
