The episode picks up after the events of the previous episode. Tomoro is shocked when Clay reveals the true identity of the former Five Planets Black Tide Soji. Despite this surprising news, Tomoro renews his determination to bring Kyo back.

Meanwhile, Kyo heads to a confrontation to settle matters. On his way, he remembers the days he once spent at an observatory. These memories are expected to provide important background on Kyo’s character and his past.

What Happened Previously

Digimon BeatBreak is the tenth television series in the Digimon franchise and was created to mark the 70th anniversary of Toei Animation. The series began airing in October 2025.

The story takes place in a world where human thoughts and emotions create a form of energy called “e-Pulse”. This energy powers AI support devices known as “Sapotama”. However, creatures called Digimon also appear and feed on e-Pulse to evolve.

The main character, Tomoro Tenma, meets Gekkomon, a Digimon that is born from his Sapotama. This meeting pulls Tomoro into a world beyond his ordinary life. He joins a bounty hunting team called “Glowing Dawn” led by Kyo Sawashiro. The team includes members Reina with her partner Pristimon, and Makoto with Chiropmon.

In recent episodes, the team has faced dangerous enemies and uncovered secrets about their world. The previous episode ended with Clay revealing important information about Soji, a former member of the Five Planets Black Tide. Tomoro was shocked by this revelation. The team has also been dealing with the fallout from conflicts with powerful Digimon and the ongoing mystery of the Royal Knights.

The series is scheduled to run for a total of 49 episodes, with the final episode expected in September 2026.
