Dive Into You is eight episodes into its 12-episode run, and the K-drama has already become a global streaming hit even while its domestic TV ratings stay low. The fantasy rom-com airs on Channel A in South Korea every Saturday and Sunday, streams on Disney+ in Korea and Japan, and reaches most of the world through Rakuten Viki. Kim Ji-yeon and Park Seo-ham lead a story built on a camcorder, a body swap, and a second chance to save a first love.

Where to Watch Dive Into You Around the World
Streaming rights are split by region, and the split is not the same as a typical global Netflix release.
- South Korea: Channel A for the live broadcast, with Disney+ for streaming
- Japan: Disney+, where the show reached No. 1 on the platform’s TV chart on September 29, 2026
- Americas, Europe, the Middle East, India, Oceania, and Southeast Asia: Rakuten Viki, which co-produced the series and carries it with subtitles in English, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Malay
- UK and Brazil: Rakuten Viki is the confirmed option; Disney+ does not carry the show in those markets
Viki offers the series through its subscription tiers, with a free-with-ads option in some regions. Disney+ carries the show only in South Korea and Japan, so viewers in the United States, Canada, the UK, Australia, and India should go to Viki.
The Ratings Story: Small on TV, No.1 on Streaming
Channel A is a cable channel, and its audience numbers are usually smaller than the free-to-air networks. Dive Into You averaged between 0.3% and 0.6% in Nielsen Korea ratings across its first six episodes, with Episode 3 hitting the season high of 0.6%.
The streaming numbers tell a different story. Rakuten Viki reported the show ranked No. 1 in weekly viewership across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and India during premiere week. It also topped the charts in 109 countries, including Brazil, France, the UK, India, the UAE, and Thailand.
“We aimed to deliver distinctive entertainment by harmoniously combining romance tropes favored by global K-drama fans, such as time-slip, body-swapping, salvation, and pure love,” a Dexter Pictures representative said in a statement.
Unknown Facts About the Cast and Production
Kim Ji-yeon and Park Seo-ham debuted in the same year and call themselves “debut classmates.” They had only known each other in passing before filming began.
“Even though we did not know each other well, when we met this time, it felt like we were old friends,” Park Seo-ham said at the September 22 press conference.
Kim Ji-yeon previously played a national judo athlete in Twenty-Five, Twenty-One, and she brought that history to set as a joke. While wearing a judo uniform, she talked about being on the national team in her “past life.”
The cast filmed scenes on top of a diving board, a nod to the show’s title. Kim Ji-yeon and Jang Se-hyuk both got nervous during the shoot, and she pulled him back when he stuck his leg out.
Director So Jae-hyun worked on Stranger and Forest of Secrets, and he said he wanted to bring the same feeling of “crazy development” and constant twists to this show.
“The cinematography is beautiful and full of twists, and the work highlights the charming characters of the four actors,” So Jae-hyun said.
Dive Into You is the first original IP drama from Dexter Pictures, a subsidiary of Dexter Studios. It is a South Korea–US–Japan co-production with Amuse Entertainment, and Rakuten Viki joined as an investor and co-producer.
Rei of IVE co-wrote and composed her OST track “Hello (君の明日へ)”, released on September 27, 2026. The OST lineup also includes Mingi of ATEEZ, Kangnam, Jeon Geon-ho, Lee Min-hyuk, and Jung Ye-won.
The camcorder that sends the twins back in time comes from a street vendor played by Zo Zazz, a special appearance that ties the fantasy device to a normal street scene.
The Story in Simple Terms
Yoon Ha-na is a top actress who cannot feel much emotion. Jung Woo-jae, her childhood friend and first love, dies while protecting her from a stalker. A car accident follows, and Ha-na and her twin brother Yoon Ha-ru discover an old camcorder that sends them back to 2010, when they were 18.
The twins swap bodies during the time slip. Ha-na wakes up inside Ha-ru’s body, and Ha-ru ends up in hers. Ha-na uses her brother’s judo skills and his place in the judo competition to stay close to Woo-jae and change the events that lead to his death. The story moves between the past and the present, with the body swap creating new problems each time they travel.
“It tells the story of someone who time-slips to save a precious friend and first love, only to end up switching souls,” So Jae-hyun said.
