CBS is betting big on vampires this fall. Eternally Yours, a new half-hour comedy from the creators of Ghosts, premiered on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 8:30 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+. The show follows Charles and Liz, a vampire couple whose 500-year marriage has lost its spark, until their daughter brings home a very human boyfriend.

The series comes from Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, the duo behind CBS’ hit comedy Ghosts. The show’s journey to the screen took over a decade, with the script first written in 2015 before finally getting a full series order in 2026.

The cast is a mix of sitcom veterans and rising stars. Here is a complete breakdown of who plays who in Eternally Yours.

Ed Weeks as Charles

Ed Weeks leads the series as Charles, a vampire who was nobility back in the Middle Ages and now works as a pencil pusher in modern-day Seattle. Charles is old-fashioned and set in his ways, pining for the days of centuries past.

Allegra Edwards as Liz

Allegra Edwards stars as Liz, Charles’ wife of 500 years. The show opens in 1526 Austria, where Liz asks Charles to turn her into a vampire because she cannot get enough of him. In the present day, Liz is more free-spirited and progressive than her husband, trying to keep up with the times.

Edwards previously appeared in Upload and had a recurring role as the spirit Donna on Ghosts seasons three and four. She described her character’s motivation as rooted in parenthood, saying Liz wants to set a better example for their daughter.

The premiere episode ends with a major twist involving Max. An accident leads to Charles biting Max, turning him into a vampire as well. Lewison spoke about his character’s state of mind after the transformation.
