Farah Khan has once again addressed the endless chatter about a possible Main Hoon Na sequel starring Shah Rukh Khan. The director’s latest reaction came after actor Arjun Kapoor publicly demanded a follow-up to the 2004 blockbuster, sending fans into a frenzy of speculation.

Farah Khan responded with a playful reply that immediately caught the attention of fans. She wrote, “Hahaha… agar kisi cheez ko dil se maango… @arjunkapoor lov u (sic)”. The line is a direct reference to a famous dialogue from Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om, which was Farah Khan‘s 2007 follow-up to Main Hoon Na.
The response was lighthearted, but it was enough to reignite speculation that a sequel might finally be in the works. However, Farah Khan‘s history with such rumours tells a different story.

“Abhi banaungi main! Abhi bachche chaley jayenge na college fir banaungi! There is a whole petition on the internet called wapas aao Farah Khan (I will make a film soon! My kids are going to college so I will make it after that. There is a whole petition for me to return to direction)! So I think it is time; I think at the end of this year I will start.”
She also said, “If I do direct a film, I will do it with Shah Rukh! Otherwise, I will wait and do YouTube.”
Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have collaborated on three films: Main Hoon Na (2004), Om Shanti Om (2007), and Happy New Year (2014). All three were major box office successes, making their potential reunion a topic of constant interest among fans.
