Episode 10 Recap: Maria’s Collapse and Mizuka’s New Role
The 10th episode, titled “Beyond the Stage of Dreams,” aired on September 5, 2026, and marked a major turning point for the series. The Sunflower Circus received official permission to enter the Circus Collection Japan Tournament, a prestigious competition that decides which troupes qualify for the global Circus Collection festival.
The episode also revealed that Maria, the troupe’s beloved ringmaster, collapsed from exhaustion and was hospitalized. Her illness had been hinted at in earlier episodes, with Maria wearing heavy makeup to hide how unwell she truly was.
