ILLIT has added another major YouTube milestone to its record book. The music video for “It’s Me” crossed 200 million views on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at around 3 a.m. KST, according to Soompi and Belift Lab updates. The video reached the mark roughly five months and 26 days after its release on April 30, 2026, at 6 p.m. KST. It is the group’s second music video to hit 200 million views and their fastest to get there.
The Milestone and How Long It Took
“It’s Me” was released on April 30, 2026, as the title track from ILLIT’s fourth mini album, MAMIHLAPINATAPAI. The video passed 100 million views on July 18, 2026, at around 3:14 p.m. KST, which took 78 days, 21 hours, and 14 minutes. That already made it ILLIT’s fastest music video to reach 100 million views, breaking the previous record set by “Magnetic”.
The jump from 100 million to 200 million took a little over three months. Soompi reported the 200 million milestone on October 27, 2026, confirming the video crossed the line at approximately 3 a.m. KST. The timing places “It’s Me” ahead of “Magnetic” in speed to 200 million, even though “Magnetic” remains the group’s most-watched video overall.
Why Its Me Stood Out
“It’s Me” is a techno-driven track with a playful concept. The music video follows the ILLIT members as they compete for attention, pop up in unexpected places, and stage a taekwondo-style dance battle. Bandwagon Asia described the visual as a series of expressive close-ups, surprise appearances, and a quirky dance sequence that adds personality to the song.
The song’s hook and the video’s odd, campy energy gave it a life beyond standard K-pop promotion. Korea Herald reported that “It’s Me” also gathered 100 million plays in Japan on Oricon by September 2026, showing that the track’s reach extended past YouTube. The Soompi report noted that the video’s 200 million mark makes it the group’s second and fastest music video to reach that level.
ILLIT’s Growing YouTube Record
“Magnetic,” ILLIT’s debut track, was the first video to reach 200 million views. That milestone came on February 17, 2025, at around 8:50 p.m. KST, about 10 months and 23 days after the video’s release on March 25, 2024. The slower pace for “Magnetic” makes the “It’s Me” run stand out: the newer song reached 200 million in less than half the time.
“Magnetic” later passed 300 million views, according to Soompi. “It’s Me” is now the second ILLIT video in the 200 million club, and the group has two videos above that line. The 100 million record for “It’s Me” was already a group best, and the 200 million mark extends that record further.

Minju added that the group worked to make the new album match the love the previous era received.
