Jung Hae In’s Funny Adlib Moment
Jung Hae In recently delighted fans with a behind-the-scenes story from the hit K-drama Love Next Door. During an interview on Netflix’s Do Not Disturb, the actor recounted a humorous adlib moment involving Jung So Min’s father‘s character, played by Jo Han Chul, that surprised even him.
Memorable Interview Details
On September 1, 2024, Jung Hae In and Jung So Min appeared on Do Not Disturb where they had to complete various tasks while keeping noise levels below 70db. During the interview, Jung Hae In shared a memorable incident from the filming of Love Next Door.
The Adlib Scene
Jung Hae In, who portrays Choi Seung Hyo in the drama, recounted a particular scene from episode 5. In this scene, Choi Seung Hyo is seen walking with Jung So Min’s father, Bae Geun Sik, played by Jo Han Chul, while he is drunk. Jo Han Chul adlibbed some lines that were so funny that Jung Hae In couldn’t help but laugh.
The moment turned into a blooper since Jung Hae In was not supposed to laugh, but surprisingly, the director approved the scene despite the unintended laughter. Jung Hae In said, “The scene was so hilariously adlibbed by Jo Han Chul that I burst out laughing, and the director okayed the scene anyway.”
