Television actor Karan Wahi has addressed weeks of speculation about his possible entry into Bigg Boss 20 as a wildcard contestant. The rumours began after he shared an Instagram story featuring a UNO card with the text “UNO mein mera fav card — Wild Card.” With his former girlfriend Uditi Singh currently inside the Salman Khan-hosted house, fans quickly connected the post to the reality show. Wahi has now made his position clear: he is not joining the current season.
Karan Wahi Answers Fan Questions Directly
During an Instagram “Ask Me A Question” session on September 26, a fan told Wahi directly, “You’re going to Bigg Boss as wildcard entry.” The actor responded by explaining that his UNO story had nothing to do with the show. “I was talking about UNO and my favourite card in UNO,” he said. He also took a light-hearted dig at fans for reading too much into the post. “Ek toh tum logon ko bhi chill nahi hai na. Har cheez ka tumko matlab kuch aur banana hota hai,” he remarked, which translates to, “You guys just can’t chill, can you? You always have to twist the meaning of everything”. He then ruled out an appearance this year: “I am not coming in Bigg Boss. I am done. Let’s just break this thought. Not coming in Bigg Boss, at least not this year”.
How the Wildcard Rumours Started
Speculation picked up in mid-September after Wahi shared an Instagram story featuring UNO cards. The card closest to his face carried the caption, “UNO mein mera fav card — Wild Card”. While he was referring to the card game, fans linked the post to Bigg Boss 20, which was already on air. The timing drew extra attention because Uditi Singh, his former girlfriend, was one of the contestants in the house. Earlier in September, Wahi had also appeared in a vlog with his Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 co-contestant Avinash Mishra and spoke about the possibility of joining the reality show. He had said, “It is possible that after this, you might see me in the Bigg Boss house”. That comment, combined with the UNO post, fuelled weeks of rumours.
Uditi Singh’s Response Inside the House
Uditi Singh, who entered Bigg Boss 20 in September 2026, addressed the possibility of Wahi entering the show during a conversation with fellow contestants Mahhi Vij, Qazi Touqeer, and Aman Gandhi. She said that even if he did enter, she would not see his presence as significant. “Woh saath bhi aa jata to mere liye any other contestant type hi hota,” she said, meaning, “Even if he had come along, he would have been just another contestant to me”. Uditi also questioned why Wahi would enter as a wildcard rather than be part of the show from the beginning if he really wanted to participate. She spoke about their breakup and admitted it had been difficult for her at first, describing that period as “very emotional,” but said she has since moved on.
Karan Wahi and Uditi Singh’s Past Relationship
Karan Wahi and Uditi Singh reportedly started dating in 2019 after connecting through Instagram while Uditi was living in London. Their relationship became serious over time, and they even discussed marriage. Uditi’s family initially had reservations about the relationship, reportedly because of the 10-year age difference and Karan’s career in the entertainment industry. Uditi later moved to India, and the couple continued their relationship before mutually parting ways in 2022. Their past relationship returned to the spotlight after Uditi entered Bigg Boss 20 in September 2026.
