Netflix’s award-winning drama Adolescence is making headlines again. Reports suggest that Oscar winner Kate Winslet is in talks to star in the second season of the hit series. Stephen Graham, who also served as co-creator, hinted at a possible return. Speaking at the Golden Globes in January, he said, “It’s somewhere in the deep recesses of my mind and Jack’s mind. We’ll pull it out in three or four years, so stay tuned”.

Kate Winslet is no stranger to stories about teenage struggles. She previously starred in the Channel 4 drama I Am Ruth in 2022. The film focused on a mother trying to help her teenage daughter deal with mental health issues caused by social media.
