The New York-based street dance crew “I Love Dance NYC” posted a video of their performance featuring a dance cover of “Iconic By Mistake” by LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT, and KATSEYE. Viewers immediately recognized Kaylee among the dancers. She later confirmed on her social media accounts that she was invited to take part in the performance.
From K-Pop Group Member to Street Dancer
Kaylee first gained attention as a contestant on the survival show A2K (America2Korea). The show was led by J.Y. Park and aimed to create a global girl group trained under the K-Pop system. She placed fifth and successfully debuted as a member of VCHA in 2024.
But her time with the group faced challenges. In March 2024, Kaylee went on a health hiatus. In July 2025, she officially left VCHA and JYP Entertainment through mutual agreement. She became the second member to leave after KG departed in December 2024.
