What Episode 11 Is About
Episode 11 airs on June 11, 2026. The episode is titled “USA Specialty de Chirashi Zushi (Part 1)”. The story moves to autumn. The rice fields now have golden rice stalks ready for harvest. The seven Koshino sisters help prepare rice for the Harvest Festival in Usa City. They cook large amounts of rice in a big pot.
The episode also shows a serious problem with Okoge, a character who uses “Demon Energy.” The energy grows too strong and starts to go out of control. Kamanosuke tries hard to hold back the energy, but his power reaches its limit. The Demon Energy breaks through his barrier. While the sisters prepare for the festival, the weather suddenly changes. A big thunderstorm hits, and lightning strikes.

The Story and Setting of ‘Komekami! Girls’
The story is based on an old Japanese belief. It says that seven gods live inside every single grain of rice. The Komekami! Girls are the seven sisters who are the children of the Rice Goddess. Their mother is called back to the heavens. She cannot return to the human world. The sisters search for any traces of her.
The sisters live in Usa City in Oita Prefecture on the island of Kyushu. They can teleport instantly to different Hachiman shrines across Kyushu. At each location, they solve problems, learn about local foods, and take part in cooking battles. As they do these things, they grow and mature.
The show first started as a character project in 2011 called Komekami! The characters appeared on rice packaging, in short anime, four-panel manga, and light novels. This new version is a relaunch called Komekami! Girls. The characters are now about 10 years younger. A pilot episode called “Ikinari Oinari Shōbu” was streamed in 2023 before the full series.

The show features a large voice cast. The main character is Hikari Koshino, voiced by Emi Nitta. Rika Matsumoto voices Okoge, the character with Demon Energy. Hiroshi Nojima voices Kamanosuke, who tries to control Okoge’s power. The Rice Goddess Queen (Hanakoshi no) is voiced by Noriko Hidaka.
