She mentioned to PEOPLE that her connection with Polansky has profoundly impacted her life, saying, “I just love my fiancé so much. He’s my best friend; he’s my partner, and I just feel like when you are with your best friend, everything changes.”

Collaboration on Gaga’s Album Harlequin

In addition to their personal relationship, Gaga and Polansky have recently taken a step forward in their professional collaboration. Gaga revealed at the premiere that Polansky worked as a co-executive producer on her latest studio album, Harlequin, which serves as a companion album to Joker: Folie à Deux. “This is the first time we decided to fully go into it and do it,” Gaga said. “It just felt right. We were both so excited, and we were all warmed up and ready to go.”

Polansky contributed as a co-writer on several songs from the album, including covers of classic tracks such as Good Morning and Oh, When the Saints. The album contains 13 songs, most of which are covers, with the exception of two original tracks: Happy Mistake and Folie à Deux. Gaga mentioned that their collaboration felt natural, driven by their shared love for music and creativity.

A Relationship Grown Over Time

Although Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky have been in the public eye since 2020, their relationship has grown stronger, both personally and professionally. In July 2024, the couple reached a new milestone when Gaga announced their engagement during the Paris Olympics.
