The Love Is Blind Format
For those unfamiliar with the show, the concept is simple. Contestants date in separate pods, never seeing the person they are getting to know. The only way they meet face to face is if they decide to get engaged, agreeing to marry someone they have never actually seen.
Matt and Emma Willis, who are married in real life, return as hosts for the third season. The couple previously told Radio Times they had a “really fun” time filming the show.
Netflix’s synopsis for the season reads: “With Emma and Matt Willis returning as hosts, this series will again follow the newly-engaged couples as they leave the bubble of the Pods to get to know one another properly in the real world.”
“Viewers will see their relationships put to the test when they move in together, meet each other’s loved ones and navigate trust issues, difficult conversations and the pressures of everyday life.”
“With a life-changing decision to make, the stakes could not be higher for our couples. And as the experiment reaches its moment of truth, the question remains: is love really blind?”
The first season of Love Is Blind UK debuted in August 2024, with Season 2 following in August 2025. The show has been renewed for additional seasons, with applications already open for future series.
