Huda Mustafa, a fan favorite from Love Island USA season 7, has finally reunited with her 5-year-old daughter Arleigh after spending six weeks away filming the reality show. The single mom shared a touching video of their reunion, calling it the moment she had been waiting for.

“Baby girl is finally back from her vacation and so is mommy, this is the day I’ve been waiting for,” Huda wrote on TikTok.

The video shows Huda waking up a sleeping Arleigh, who immediately hugs her mom with excitement. The two laugh together as a sentimental song plays in the background. Huda also posted a photo on Instagram with the caption:

“We’re both finally back from vacation at the same time. We needed these hugs. Happiest girls in the world.”

Huda’s Journey as a Single Mom on Love Island USA

Huda, 24, joined Love Island USA to find love but also wanted to show that being a single mother doesn’t mean giving up on personal dreams. She shares custody of Arleigh with her ex, Noah Sheline, but has her daughter most days.

“When I did the interview for Love Island, I had the mindset of, ‘I’m a mom. That’s fine. I’m a single mother. That’s also fine.’ That doesn’t mean that you have to halt your life or you have to stop your dreams from coming true,” she told Us Weekly.

She made sure Arleigh felt loved while she was away by sending voice notes, videos, and gifts.

“I wanted to make sure that she was well taken care of and that she didn’t forget that her mommy loves her.”

Dealing With Backlash and CPS Rumors

Some viewers criticized Huda for leaving her daughter to go on the show, with rumors even claiming that fans called Child Protective Services (CPS) on her. She addressed these claims on the Call Her Daddy podcast.

“The craziest thing I’ve heard is that people called CPS on me. I was like, ‘Are you so serious right now?’”

Huda explained that Arleigh’s father fully supported her decision to join the show.

“My daughter’s dad was fully aware of what I was doing. He was okay with it, he signed consent forms, we had that conversation, we’re fine. Me going on a show does not make me a bad person.”

Life After Love Island

Though Huda didn’t win the show, she left with millions of new followers on Instagram (4 million) and TikTok (5.4 million). She also gained confidence in setting boundaries after her experiences in the villa.

Her relationship with Jeremiah Brown was intense but turned toxic, while her brief connection with Chris Seeley ended before the finale.

“I’m not going to fake something if I don’t believe it’s there,” she said about her decision to leave.

Now, she’s focusing on her daughter and her career, proving that single moms can pursue their goals without guilt.

How Arleigh Reacted to Huda’s TV Appearance

Arleigh is Huda’s biggest supporter. The little girl even defends her mom if anyone says something negative.

“If someone says something mean to me, she’s like, ‘Don’t talk to my mom like that,’” Huda shared.

The two have a close bond, doing everything together—from morning routines to talking about school and crushes.

“She tells me about the boys she likes. We do the kiki, haha-ing. We put perform on in the mornings together. We brush our teeth in the same sink, even though I have a double sink.”

What’s Next for Huda?

Huda is now enjoying time with Arleigh and using her platform to inspire other single moms. She believes her experience on Love Island USA was worth it, even if she didn’t find love.

“I can provide for my daughter more than I could ever before. And that is truly a blessing.”

Her story shows that mothers can chase their dreams while still being devoted parents.
