Reality TV personality Marsau Scott from the OWN series Love & Marriage: Huntsville was taken into police custody over the weekend. The 46-year-old was arrested following an incident at a local business in Huntsville, Alabama. He now faces multiple charges as police continue to investigate the situation.
Early Morning Incident Leads to Arrest
Huntsville Police officers responded to a disturbance call at a business located at 4200 Oakwood Avenue. The call came in around 5 am CDT on Sunday, June 28. When officers arrived, they determined Scott was involved in a physical altercation that had broken out inside the establishment.
Scott was taken to the Madison County Jail following his arrest. Booking records show he was processed at the facility at 7:31 am. He faces charges of third-degree simple assault, harassment, and an alias writ arrest tied to a misdemeanor offense. The assault and harassment charges were filed by the Huntsville Police Department.
The reality star was released from custody relatively quickly. He walked out of the Madison County Jail at approximately 9:58 am, just two and a half hours after being processed.
Authorities Remain Quiet on Details
Police have not released a public statement about what led to the fight. The exact circumstances surrounding the alleged incident remain unknown to the public. Authorities have also not confirmed whether anyone else was arrested in connection with the disturbance.
Scott, whose full name is Marsau Jevon Scott, was listed in jail records as being 46 years old. The alias writ arrest carries a $600 bond, while the assault and harassment charges did not require bond. Investigators told local media the case remains under investigation.
Family Reacts to the Arrest
LaTisha Scott, Marsau’s wife and fellow cast member on the reality show, has not directly addressed the arrest publicly. However, she posted a message on her Instagram Story shortly after the news broke. The post read, “As a mother, you are not replaceable. Let that sink in. So when you’re thinking you’re not enough, you’re actually everything.” The message appeared to hint at the emotional toll the situation has taken on her and their family.
Not the First Legal Issue for the Reality Star
This is not Scott’s first time dealing with legal trouble. He was previously arrested in March 2025 in Madison County. That arrest happened on a Friday night. He was taken into custody due to an alias warrant related to an aggressive speeding ticket. In Alabama, an alias warrant is issued when someone fails to appear in court for a traffic violation.
Records showed that Scott had received speeding tickets in 2008, 2009, 2018, and 2020. The 2025 arrest was his first time having a warrant issued for missing a court appearance. He was released after posting a $300 bond.
A Pattern of Legal Issues on the Show
Scott’s latest arrest adds to a concerning trend among cast members of Love & Marriage: Huntsville. This marks the fifth arrest involving a cast member since January 2024.
His brother, Maurice Scott, was arrested over Memorial Day Weekend 2024. He faced a DUI charge but his case was later dismissed by the State of Alabama. Destiny Payton was also arrested on an identity theft charge, and Martell Holt faced an arrest on a domestic violence-related harassing communications charge. Holt was convicted and is appealing the decision.
Business and Personal Life
Outside of reality television, Scott is a businessman in Alabama. He owns Scholt Industries, a commercial general contracting company. He works alongside LaTisha in both business and personal life. According to reports, the couple married on September 2, 2026. Scott earned an MBA in Project Management from the University of Alabama Huntsville in 2015. The couple has a history of being a power couple on the show, balancing their business ventures with their family life.
