Min Hee-jin Ordered to Pay Fines After Losing Legal Battle Over Workplace Bullying and Sexual Harassment as Former ADOR Employee Breaks Silence on Abuse Allegations

Min Hee-jin, the former CEO of ADOR, a subsidiary of HYBE Corporation, has been fined by the Labor Office for workplace bullying and failing to conduct an impartial investigation into allegations of sexual harassment. The case has drawn widespread attention after a former employee, referred to as A, publicly shared their experiences and updates on the ongoing legal battles.

A, who previously worked at ADOR, accused a vice president at the company of workplace bullying and sexual harassment. When A reported these incidents to Min Hee-jin, they claim she sided with the vice president, dismissed the allegations, and even used derogatory language against them.

The Labor Office’s Findings

Following an investigation, the Labor Office found Min Hee-jin guilty of workplace bullying and failing to fulfill her duty to conduct an impartial investigation. She was fined as a result. However, the Labor Office could not conclusively determine if sexual harassment took place, and no additional fine was issued for that aspect.

On March 24, 2025, A posted an update on social media titled โ€œNotification of Labor Office Results.โ€ They wrote:

โ€œI received the notification letter from the Labor Office via registered mail today. I sincerely thank those who have supported me all this time. Many people were curious about the results and have requested interviews, so I am sharing this update. I appreciate your continued support.โ€

A highlighted the significance of the ruling, noting, โ€œOnly 12% of workplace bullying cases are officially recognized, and the fact that this resulted in a fine rather than a simple warning demonstrates the severity of the situation.โ€

A also clarified that an external agency reviewed the allegations and confirmed workplace bullying by the vice president but found it challenging to verify sexual harassment. The Labor Office agreed with this assessment.

Ongoing Legal Battles

A expressed frustration with Min Hee-jinโ€™s response to the situation, stating:

โ€œI had given her at least four opportunities to apologize and end all this, but instead, she sued me. I no longer need an apology. I will continue to respond diligently to the remaining civil and criminal cases, especially the one where Min Hee-jin sued me.โ€

The legal conflict between A and Min Hee-jin continues to escalate. A has filed a lawsuit against Min Hee-jin for defamation and violation of the Personal Information Protection Act. In response, Min Hee-jin has countersued A, and both cases are expected to proceed in court.

Min Hee-jin has denied the allegations, asserting that the sexual harassment claims were exaggerated and that she acted objectively. However, the Labor Officeโ€™s findings challenge her version of events.

This case has sparked broader conversations about workplace ethics and the responsibility of leaders to address bullying and harassment claims seriously. As legal proceedings unfold, the public awaits further developments that may clarify the full scope of the controversy.
