A new poster for the upcoming South Korean drama My Dearest Nemesis, starring Moon Ga Young and Choi Hyun Wook, has been released, giving fans a closer look at the rekindled relationship between the two main characters. The drama explores a second chance at love after a less-than-ideal first encounter.

A Glimpse into the Past and Present

The newly released poster features Moon Ga Young as Baek Su Jeong and Choi Hyun Wook as Ban Ju Yeon. They are seen holding figurines of their online game characters, Strawberry and Black Dragon, respectively. This detail is a sweet reminder of how they initially met. The speech bubbles coming from the figurines suggest that they still think about each other, creating a sense of warmth and nostalgia. The poster also includes a tagline that highlights their desire to move past their awkward first love: “A new romance has arrived that will erase this wretched first love?!”

Characters and Plot Details

Moon Ga Young plays Baek Su Jeong, a determined leader of the planning team at Yongseong Department Store. She has earned the nickname “Executive Killer” because of her fearlessness in confronting her superiors. Choi Hyun Wook portrays Ban Ju Yeon, a meticulous third-generation chaebol and the head of the same department store. He hides a quirky online persona, Black Flame Dragon, as he works to prove himself as a worthy heir to the family business.

The story of My Dearest Nemesis centers on Baek Su Jeong and Ban Ju Yeon, who unexpectedly reunite as colleagues after sixteen years. Their first meeting took place in an online game where Ban Ju Yeon confessed his feelings to Baek Su Jeong, only to be rejected. While Baek Su Jeong prefers to forget this past incident, it remains Ban Ju Yeon’s first heartbreak. Now working together, their contrasting personalities and unresolved history create tension and set the stage for a new relationship.
