Crunchyroll and Toei Animation have officially set the release date for the English-dubbed version of the One Piece Elbaph Arc. The long-running anime series is bringing its latest storyline to English-speaking audiences starting October 20, 2026, with a brand new weekly release schedule that marks a significant change from previous dub rollouts.
The announcement comes alongside news that the One Piece Heroines special will also receive English, Spanish, and Portuguese dubs, debuting a week earlier on October 13, 2026.
English Dub Premiere Date and Streaming Time
The One Piece Elbaph Arc English dub officially begins streaming on October 20, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. PT (12:00 p.m. EDT). The premiere episode is Episode 1156, titled “The Long-Sought Elbaph! The Big Reunion Banquet!”. Following the debut, new English-dubbed episodes will drop every Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. PT.
The dubbed episodes will be available on Crunchyroll across multiple regions, including the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.
Weekly Release Schedule Replaces Batch Drops
This release marks a major shift in how One Piece English dubs are delivered. Previously, Crunchyroll released dubbed episodes in large batches, often with weeks or months between drops. With the Elbaph Arc, the platform is moving to a weekly release model—one new dubbed episode every Tuesday.

This change aligns with One Piece‘s adjusted production schedule. The anime now produces 26 episodes per year, down from its previous weekly output. The weekly dub schedule means English-speaking viewers can follow the arc at a steady pace, similar to how Japanese audiences experience the show.
What to Expect From the Elbaph Arc
The Elbaph Arc takes the Straw Hat Pirates to the legendary Land of the Giants, a destination long teased throughout the series. After escaping from Egghead Island, Luffy and his crew join forces with the Giant Warrior Pirates and finally arrive at Elbaph, a place filled with massive warriors, ancient history, and new mysteries.
The arc introduces new characters, including Prince Loki, voiced by Yūichi Nakamura in the Japanese version. The storyline also features the Knights of God, with voice cast additions including Kenjiro Tsuda as Saint Shamrock, Sumire Uesaka as Saint Gunko, Hiroki Yasumoto as Saint Sommers, and Shinnosuke Tachibana as Saint Killingham.
For the English dub, returning voice actors include Ian Sinclair (Brook, Scopper Gaban) and Brina Palencia (Tony Tony Chopper). The English cast also features Neil Kaplan as Figarland Garling.
The arc’s Japanese broadcast began on April 5, 2026. The opening theme song “Luminous” is performed by Aina The End, while the ending theme “Sono Mirai” (That Future) is performed by rock band 36km/h.
One Piece Heroines Dubbed Special Arrives October 13
Before the Elbaph Arc dub begins, Crunchyroll will release the English, Spanish, and Portuguese dubs of One Piece Heroines on October 13, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. PT.
One Piece Heroines is a spin-off anime special based on the light novel series of the same name. It focuses on the women of the One Piece world, with stories centered on characters like Nami, Robin, Vivi, Perona, Hancock, Tashigi, Reiju, and Uta.
The special follows Nami after she fails to stop thieves because of her ill-fitting shoes. She goes to the shop for a refund, and the head designer offers her a new pair made from scratch—on the condition that she walks in an upcoming fashion show.
Haruka Kamatani (One Piece in Love) directs the special, with character designs by Takashi Kojima (Flip Flappers) and scripts by Momoka Toyoda (One Piece Fan Letter). The special premiered on Fuji TV on July 5, 2026, and has been streaming on Crunchyroll since.

The shift to a weekly English dub schedule reflects broader changes in the One Piece anime. In October 2025, Toei Animation and producer Ryūta Koike announced that the series would reduce its annual episode output to 26 per year, starting in April 2026. This change aims to improve production quality and reduce the strain on animators.
With the Elbaph Arc English dub premiering on October 20, fans can expect to follow the Straw Hats’ journey into the land of giants on a regular weekly cadence. Episode 1157 will arrive one week after the premiere, with new episodes continuing every Tuesday.
The Elbaph Arc is currently nearing the end of its Japanese run, with only a few episodes remaining as of late August 2026. The series will return with 26 more episodes in 2027. Two new One Piece feature films are also in development: One Piece Film God Valley in 2027 and One Piece Film BAAD in 2029.
