Indian anime fans who speak Hindi have a new reason to celebrate. Ani-One India started streaming the complete Hindi dub of Overlord on May 28, 2026. The channel is uploading one episode every day. Viewers can also watch the show with the original Japanese audio and English subtitles at the same time.
This is the first time Ani-One India has offered the Overlord Hindi dub on its platform. The news came through an announcement on the official Ani-One India YouTube channel on May 30, 2026.
All Four Seasons of Overlord Are Now Available
The streaming release includes every season of the popular dark fantasy anime. Overlord first came out in Japan in July 2015 with 13 episodes. The second season, also with 13 episodes, arrived in January 2018. Season three followed in July 2018. The fourth season, Overlord IV, premiered in July 2022.
Ani-One Asia had previously streamed the anime in India as it aired in Japan. But those streams only had the original Japanese audio. The new Hindi dub gives local fans a way to enjoy the show in their native language.
This Is the Second Hindi Dub of Overlord
The Overlord Hindi dub on Ani-One India is not the first Hindi version of the show. Another Hindi dub came out on Anime Times, a Prime Video Channel, on April 16, 2025. That platform released all four seasons in Hindi over several months.
Later, Zee Café created a completely different Hindi dub for Indian television. The show premiered on Zee Café on August 28, 2025. It aired Monday through Friday at 6:00 PM, with two episodes each evening. The broadcast ran from August to October 2025. Zee Café’s Hindi dub was exclusive to TV and was not available on any streaming platform at that time.
On January 9, 2026, ZEE5 added the Zee Café Hindi dub of Overlord Seasons 1 through 4 to its streaming library. This marked the first time the TV dub became available for online streaming.
The Ani-One India Hindi dub is a separate version from both the Anime Times dub and the Zee Café dub. Ani-One India has not specified which Hindi dubbing team worked on their version.
What Is Overlord About?
Overlord is based on a light novel series written by Kugane Maruyama. The story takes place in the year 2138. Virtual reality gaming is everywhere. A popular online game called Yggdrasil is quietly shutting down its servers.
The main character, Momonga, decides to stay logged in until the very end. But when the shutdown happens, he does not get disconnected. Instead, he transforms into his in-game character—a skeleton known as “the most powerful wizard.” The game world keeps changing. Non-player characters start showing emotions. NPCs begin to think and feel like real people.
Momonga has no family, no friends, and no real place in society. Now trapped in this new reality, he decides to take over the world the game has become. He renames himself Ainz Ooal Gown and leads his loyal NPC followers, the NPCs of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, on a mission to conquer everything.
The light novels began online in 2010. Kadokawa’s Enterbrain imprint started publishing them in print with illustrations by so-bin in 2012.
Where to Watch Overlord Hindi Dub in India
Indian viewers now have multiple choices for watching Overlord in Hindi.
Ani-One India (YouTube and streaming platforms) is uploading one episode daily starting May 28, 2026. The full series will be available as the daily uploads continue.
ZEE5 has the Zee Café Hindi dub of all four seasons. These were added on January 9, 2026.
Anime Times (Prime Video Channel) offers a different Hindi dub that came out in April 2025.
For viewers in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and other global markets, Overlord is available on Crunchyroll with English subtitles and English dubs. The Hindi dub is currently exclusive to platforms serving Indian audiences.

The arrival of Overlord Hindi dub on Ani-One India shows how fast the Indian anime market is growing. More streaming services are adding Hindi-dubbed content to reach a wider audience. ZEE5 started adding Hindi-dubbed anime series in January 2026. Besides Overlord, the platform also added Blue Lock Seasons 1 and 2 on the same day.
Ani-One India’s decision to stream Overlord in Hindi suggests the channel will likely bring more Hindi-dubbed anime in the coming months. The daily upload schedule also keeps viewers coming back to the platform regularly.
