Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Swara Bhasker, Gautam Gulati, and Karan Patel lead the lineup, with former cricketer Virender Sehwag stepping in as the new host. The captive reality show premieres on September 26, 2026, streaming for free on Prime Video and the MX Player Android app, now rebranded as MX Player by Prime Video. This season introduces a fresh interactive twist: viewers can assign each contestant a starting monetary value — ₹4 lakh, ₹3.5 lakh, or ₹75,000 — through a feature called “Price For All.” These audience-decided amounts contribute to the final prize pot once the competition begins .

- Priyanka Chahar Choudhary – A household name from Udaariyaan and a strong contender on Bigg Boss 16, where she finished third. She has since led Naagin 7 and appeared in several music videos. This marks her return to the reality-show format after a brief stint as a gang leader on Playground .
- Swara Bhasker – Known for films including Veere Di Wedding, Tanu Weds Manu, and Raanjhanaa, Swara is an outspoken actor who has frequently engaged with social and political issues. While she previously appeared on Pati Patni Aur Panga, this is her first captive reality show .
- Gautam Gulati – Winner of Bigg Boss 8 in 2015, Gautam rose to fame with TV shows like Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani and Diya Aur Baati Hum. Rise & Fall Season 2 marks his return as a reality-show contestant more than a decade after his Bigg Boss victory. He previously served as a gang leader on MTV Roadies: Karm Ya Kaand and Roadies XX .
- Karan Patel – Best known for playing Raman Bhalla in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (2013–2019), Karan is a veteran of Indian television. His other credits include Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kasamh Se, and Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. He has previously participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 and The 50 .

- Tej Pratap Yadav – Son of Bihar politician Lalu Prasad Yadav and a former Bihar minister. He has served as an MLA and held portfolios including health and environment. What Is Rise & Fall Season 2 About?
The show revolves around a sharp divide between the privileged and the underprivileged. Contestants are split into two groups: Rulers, who live in a lavish penthouse with access to luxury and key powers, and Workers, who stay in a basement with limited resources, complete tasks, and face elimination. Positions can shift based on decisions, alliances, and strategies, making the game unpredictable .
On the opening day, contestants will choose between golden and silver briefcases, adding a new strategic element. The audience will also play a more active role this season, with the power to influence whether a contestant becomes a Ruler or a Worker through the “Price For All” voting feature on the Prime Video app .
Virender Sehwag Takes Over as Host
Virender Sehwag replaces Ashneer Grover as the host for Season 2. The former Indian cricketer makes his streaming debut with this role. Speaking about the show, Sehwag said, “There are no easy wins and no fixed positions” — a fitting description of a game where fortunes can turn quickly .
The first season, hosted by Grover, premiered on September 6, 2025, and ran for 42 days. Actor Arjun Bijlani won the inaugural season, taking home a prize of over ₹28 lakh.
