The series follows Tanya Degurechaff, a Japanese office worker who gets reincarnated as a little girl in an alternate version of 20th-century Europe after angering a being called “Being X.” Now serving as a major in the Imperial Army’s mage corps, Tanya uses her strategic genius to climb the military ranks while fighting against the entity that put her in this situation.
