Actress Song Ji Hyo is still waiting to receive approximately 10 billion KRW (around $7.7 million USD) in advertising model fees from her former agency.
Unpaid Fees Despite Lawsuit Victory
According to an investigation by News1 on July 31st, Song Ji Hyo won a lawsuit against her previous agency in December of last year. However, seven months have passed, and she still has not received the 10 billion KRW owed to her.
Song Ji Hyo’s representative stated on July 31st, “We have obtained a payment order through a civil lawsuit, but the payment has not been enforced.” They also mentioned that they are continuing to pursue the necessary procedures to collect the fees from the former agency through debt collection.

When asked for a statement, the CEO of Song Ji Hyo’s former agency, Uzurocks, did not provide any comment.
Court Rulings and Legal Actions
Previously, in November of last year, the first trial court ruled that Uzurocks must pay Song Ji Hyo 9.84 billion KRW plus some delayed interest. Since Uzurocks did not file an appeal within the two-week period after the verdict was delivered, Song Ji Hyo’s victory was finalized in December of that year.
Contract Termination and New Beginnings
Song Ji Hyo signed an exclusive contract with Uzurocks in October 2022, but due to the non-payment of her fees, she terminated the contract in April of last year. Following this, in May, she filed a criminal complaint against Uzurocks’ former CEO for embezzlement under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes and also filed a civil lawsuit to claim her unpaid fees.
In October of last year, Song Ji Hyo signed a new exclusive contract with Nexus ENM, marking a fresh start.
