The makers of Prabhas‘ upcoming film Spirit have officially denied all postponement rumors. The movie will release on March 5, 2027, as originally planned. This means the big box office clash with Salman Khan‘s untitled film SVC63 is still happening during the Eid 2027 weekend.
T-Series Confirms No Change in Spirit Release Date
Recent reports claimed that Spirit might move to June 2027 to avoid competing with Salman Khan‘s movie. But the production house T-Series quickly shut down these rumors. A T-Series spokesperson told Zoom:
“We are very much on track with the release of Spirit. The film is slated to release on March 5, 2027, and there is absolutely no change to the announced release date. We are working as per schedule and are gearing up to bring the film to audiences worldwide on March 5, 2027.”
This is not the first time the makers have denied such rumors. Back in May 2026, T-Series gave a similar statement when reports claimed the film would be postponed.
About Spirit: Prabhas’ Big Collaboration with Sandeep Reddy Vanga
Spirit marks the first time Prabhas and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga are working together. Vanga previously directed the blockbuster Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar under the T-Series banner.
