The Story And Main Characters For The New Season
The series is based on the web novel Spring Fever by Baek Min-a and focuses on new beginnings and unexpected connections. The main story follows a woman named Yoon Bom, played by actress Lee Joo-bin.
Yoon Bom moves from Seoul to the quiet countryside town of Shinsu-eup after a difficult experience, seeking a peaceful life. She becomes a teacher at a local school but keeps a cold and distant attitude towards her new surroundings. Her life takes a turn when she meets Seon Jae-gyu, played by actor Ahn Bo-hyun.
Seon Jae-gyu is the CEO of an energy company. Although his large build can make him seem intimidating, he is described as a kind-hearted man with a warm personality. He is drawn to Yoon Bom’s unique nature and makes an effort to get to know her. Their meeting sets off the story as Yoon Bom begins to open her heart again.
The show’s official description calls it “A springtime rom-com about a mysterious school teacher who has closed off her heart… and an unpredictable man who charges into her life without brakes”.

- Ahn Bo-hyun as Seon Jae-gyu: Known for his roles in shows like Itaewon Class and the recent film Pretty Crazy, Ahn Bo-hyun plays the male lead with a warm heart.
- Lee Joo-bin as Yoon Bom: Lee Joo-bin, who appeared in the 2025 drama Twelve, portrays the female lead who starts a new life as a teacher.
- Cha Seo-won as Choi Yi-joon: This actor joins the cast as an elite lawyer, adding another dynamic to the story.

Spring Fever is produced by Bon Factory and CJ ENM Studios. The director is Park Won-gook, who previously directed the popular drama Marry My Husband in 2024. The script is written by Kim Ah-jung.
The series has been in planning for some time. Lead casting reports first emerged in October 2024, with filming expected to begin in 2025. The production team held a script reading session in November 2025, and around that time, behind-the-scenes photos of the main cast were released.
