Main Plot: A Teacher’s Fresh Start and an Unlikely Connection
Spring Fever follows the story of Yoon Bom, played by Lee Joo-bin, a teacher who was once popular and beloved at a school in Seoul . After experiencing an undisclosed emotional turmoil in the city, she leaves her life behind and moves to the quiet, small town of Sinsu for a new beginning as an exchange teacher . Arriving with a closed-off heart, she is initially cold and detached from everyone around her .
Her life takes a turn when she meets Seon Jae-gyu, portrayed by Ahn Bo-hyun . He is a local man and the uncle of one of her new students, Seon Han-gyeol . Despite his large build and a first impression that might seem intimidating, Jae-gyu is described as a genuinely warm, pleasant, and considerate person . He develops feelings for the new teacher and chooses to express them in an honest and straightforward way, slowly helping her open up again.

Meet the Main Cast and Supporting Characters
The series is led by two accomplished actors. Ahn Bo-hyun takes on the role of Seon Jae-gyu. Fans know Ahn Bo-hyun from his performances in series like Itaewon Class and Flex X Cop . He describes his new project as “a story designed to let your mind and soul rest” .
Playing the female lead, Yoon Bom, is actress Lee Joo-bin. She has appeared in popular dramas such as Queen of Tears and Mr. Sunshine . About the tone of Spring Fever, Lee Joo-bin shared, “Itโs lighthearted without heavy emotional baggage. Viewers waiting for a warm spring breeze after winter will find comfort here” .
The main cast is joined by Cha Seo-won, who plays Choi I-joon, an elite lawyer who is Jae-gyu’s former best friend and current rival . His arrival is set to introduce tension and complexity to the story .
A significant part of the drama will also focus on the younger generation at Sinsu High School. Cho Jun-young plays Seon Han-gyeol, Jae-gyu’s nephew and a top student at the school . Directing the series is Park Won-gook. Director Park previously led the production of the hit tvN drama Marry My Husband, which achieved record-high ratings for the network . The production company behind the series is BON FACTORY.
The drama is scheduled to occupy the Monday-Tuesday 8:50 PM time slot on tvN, taking over from the drama Nice to Not Meet You.
