Stray Kids Break K-Pop Records in Brazil with Historic Stadium Concerts

Stray Kids made history in Brazil by becoming the first K-pop group to perform solo concerts at Estádio do Morumbi in São Paulo, drawing a total of 175,000 fans across three shows. The performances, held on April 1 in Rio de Janeiro and April 5–6 in São Paulo, set a new record for the largest K-pop tour in Brazil .

Unprecedented Demand and Expanded Shows

Originally planned as a single São Paulo concert, overwhelming ticket demand prompted organizers to add a second night. The Rio de Janeiro show at Estádio Nilton Santos attracted 55,000 fans, while the two São Paulo dates at Estádio do Morumbi brought in 120,000 attendees . The venue, previously host to global stars like U2, Madonna, and Coldplay, marked another milestone for K-pop’s global expansion .

High-Energy Performances and Fan Reactions

The concerts featured a 30-song setlist, including hits like “MANIAC,” “God’s Menu,” and “S-Class,” alongside unit performances from their digital single Mixtape: dominATE. Pyrotechnics, fireworks, and live vocals amplified the energy, with members expressing gratitude to fans, known as STAY .

Leader Bang Chan remarked, “Sometimes we wonder, ‘Is it really possible to have this many fans in South America?’” while Hyunjin promised a return, saying, “We performed like these shows were our last… but they’re not. We’ll be back” .

Global Tour Continues with Record-Breaking Scale

The dominATE tour, spanning 55 shows in 34 cities, is projected to draw 2.2 million attendees, potentially becoming the largest single K-pop tour in history. Upcoming stops include historic debuts at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium .

  • “Truman” (HAN, Felix)
  • “Burnin’ Tires” (Changbin, I.N)
